June 20th : Shaoyi’s Team Building Event
On June 20th, the Shaoyi Metal team stepped away from the production floor and into nature for a company-wide team-building event in the lush green hills of Huchen Town, Ningbo. The destination: a scenic outdoor camping site, perfect for relaxation, team bonding, and some much-deserved fun.

Soup Dumpling Competition: Honoring Local Traditions
We kicked off the day with a hands-on cultural activity: making soup dumplings (Tangbao). This beloved local delicacy is a staple in many Ningbo households, and we turned it into a lighthearted dumpling-making contest. Some participants crafted restaurant-quality dumplings, while others—let's just say their dumplings were more creative than perfect. The laughter and team spirit set a positive tone for the rest of the day.

Outdoor Barbecue, Karaoke & Water Fight
After enjoying our freshly steamed dumplings, the team took a short break and moved into the next round of fun: an outdoor barbecue. With the aroma of grilled food in the air, team members gathered together for delicious eats and easygoing chats. As the meal wrapped up, someone grabbed the microphone—and a spontaneous karaoke session was born. Soon after, the energy escalated into an epic water fight, turning the afternoon into an unexpected splash of joy.

Afternoon Team Games: Building Trust and Coordination
The second half of the day focused on teamwork and problem-solving, with a series of engaging group activities. The first was the Track Ball Challenge, where teams used ropes to guide a tennis ball into a bucket. Next came the Ball Clamping Obstacle Course, requiring five-person teams to hold balloons between them and cross a course without dropping or bursting them.

The final set of challenges formed a multi-stage team relay. This included:
- Touhu, a traditional Chinese game of precision shoot.
- Jump rope on a acupressure mat (not as easy—or painless—as it sounds! )
- "Chase the Chicken", teams used fans to guide balloon-shaped chickens to the finish line.

These team games weren't just for laughs; they reinforced collaboration, patience, and communication.
Team Results: Yellow Team Takes the Win
When the scores were tallied, the Yellow Team—a joint force from the Sales Department and Machining Workshop—claimed the top spot. The Orange Team, made up of the PMC Department and Stamping Workshop, earned a close second. While there were winners, the real achievement was the shared laughter, energy, and sense of unity.
